AIMA's Policy Department heavily invests its time in responding to proposed legislation and consultations from government bodies and actively participates on high-level committees, ensuring that AIMA's voice heard at a political level.

AIMA hosts events aimed specifically at policy makers, regulators and government institutions and produces Position Statements setting out AIMA's beliefs and recommendations on key topics.

Having fostered excellent relationships with many political leaders, AIMA is highly respected within the political community and is best placed to lead the drive towards international harmonisation of industry sound practices.
