AIMA Hong Kong Seminar: Last Chance to Get to Grips with the Current Cayman Islands AML Laws (Manager session)

Hong Kong

AIMA Hong Kong invites you to this seminar, kindly hosted by Maples.

The regulatory scene in the Cayman Islands has undergone significant change over the past year, particularly in respect of anti-money laundering rules. Much of these changes will have a direct impact on every Cayman Islands investment fund, as well as those who manage them. Failure to comply may result in hefty fines, which could harm returns as well as reputation. It is extremely important that anyone involved with Cayman Islands investment entities are up to speed on their regulatory obligations.

This seminar will touch on the breadth of the regulatory changes – with a focus on the Cayman Islands anti-money laundering regime – and cover the latest market practice and regulator's expectations.

Speakers:
Ann Ng, Partner, Maples and Calder
Brandon Doffing, Associate, Maples and Calder

Please note that due to a change in venue, we are now able to accommodate more attendees per firm.

This session is open to Managers only. The Service Providers session will be held on 21 September.
