ESAs consult on packaged retail and insurance-based investment products with environmental or social objectives

Published: 13 February 2017

The European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) has launched a consultation on a proposal to set minimum requirements, which manufacturers of packaged retail and insurance-based investment products with environmental or social objectives (EOS PRIIPS) complied with to ensure that credible products are offered to retail investors.

The consultation analyses whether there are possible gaps in the current legal framework for product oversight and governance rules regarding EOS PRIIPs. The deadline to provide feedback on this consultation is 23 March. If you would like to contribute to a response or of you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Wood.
