Industry-wide survey examining hedge funds' use of ESG investing

ESG is one of the foundational trends reshaping the global investment management industry. The Global Sustainable Investment Alliance (GSIA) estimates that there were more than US$30 trillion in ESG-oriented assets under professional management at year-end 2018, with continued inflows expected in the years ahead. This paradigm shift represents both an opportunity – and a challenge – for the hedge fund industry. Together with KPMG International, CAIA and CREATE-Research, we are commissioning a global survey to gain insights into how hedge funds are responding to the rise of ESG investing and to help define best practices in this emerging field.

We appreciate that time is in increasingly short supply. However as with all our reports, to ensure meaningful data is collected, we encourage you to take this survey.

Please note: The survey should between 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses will remain strictly anonymous. The results will be published in a high-visibility forward-looking global research report that will be made available to all participants in February 2020.

Thanks you as always for your support. And if you have any further questions please contact tkehoe@aima.org.
