The AIMA Canada Sales Practices Committee presents:
Investing in Alternatives and Hedge Funds: Adding alternatives to your book/portfolio 
Learn about alternatives and how to position them. This workshop is for Institutional Investors, Investment Advisors and their teams who are looking at or already investing in alternative strategy or alternative asset funds. Featuring an introduction to the Canadian industry followed by a panel discussion with noted industry professionals that will include: the benefits and challenges of hedge funds, how to source and perform manager due diligence, how to position alternative strategies and asset classes with different client segments and portfolio constraints/mandates and risk tolerances and ways to keep current on trends in the industry.
A take-away picture-book will be available for all attendees and will include an introduction to the Canadian alternatives industry, a 1-pager listing all of the sponsoring manager members and a text listing of all AIMA Canada members.
Attendance will be limited to:
Investment Advisors (preference, in the case of capacity constraints, to members); and AIMA Canada manager and service provider members.
