The 2020 Federal Budget included the Your Future, Your Super (YFYS) reform package, which will have a significant impact on superannuation. Specifically, the performance test, at a high level looks reasonable for Super Members outcomes so why has it garnered such heavy criticism? These reforms, along with other regulatory tools such as APRA’s heat maps, Outcomes and Sole Purpose tests are also being widely scrutinised. 

 

AIMA is looking to gauge opinions from Members on these reforms in order to formulate an industry wide response. 

 

To facilitate this AIMA will hold a member round table via zoom call.  As part of registration for this roundtable AIMA is seeking thoughts and dialogue on the new reforms, these will be treated in strict confidence.
