Managing Director, Citco (Canada) Inc
Emer McGuckin is a Managing Director at Citco (Canada) Inc. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing and advancing investor relations globally.
Ms. McGuckin has over 15 years of experience in fund administration, having joined Citco (Ireland) Limited in 2004 where she spent five years in senior roles within the fund accounting group. In 2009, she transitioned to the investor relations team, becoming responsible for the overall management of the department in Dublin until 2011. Following this, she relocated to Toronto in order to oversee investor relations services for hedge fund clients throughout North America.
During her time at Citco, Ms. McGuckin has been responsible for driving the evolution of Citco’s investor relations technology which included; centralizing Citco’s Transfer Agency solution into one proprietary market leading platform; the development and roll out of CitcoOne™, Citco’s online investor platform utilized by over 100,000 investors; and, in 2019, the development and roll out of CitcoConnect™, which brings simplicity and automation to the process of onboarding new investors, enhancing the overall investor experience.
Ms. McGuckin graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Business and Law degree and went on to qualify as a management accountant. Prior to joining Citco, she spent six years in a product control role in a large London-based Investment Bank.
