Managing Director, Funds, Private Markets, Quebec and International Venture Capital, CPDQ
Caroline Côté is Managing Director, Funds, Private Markets, Québec and International Venture Capital. She manages a portfolio of investment funds that are active in Québec in the areas of venture capital, growth capital and buyout. She is also responsible for international venture capital activities, as well serving as Chair of the Board of Espace CDPQ.
Ms. Côté has worked at CDPQ since 2002, previously holding the roles of Managing Director, Funds and Strategic Partnerships, Québec; Senior Director, Private Equity; Director, Business Development and Analyst, Investment, Private Equity. Prior to joining CDPQ, she worked at Merrill Lynch and BMO Nesbitt Burns investment banks.
Ms. Côté holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from HEC Montréal. She sits on the Boards of Directors of the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) and Réseau Capital. She is also responsible for Réseau Capital’s ELLE-Invest initiative, which promotes the success of Québec women in the venture capital and growth capital industry.
