Senior Director, Asset Allocation, Trans-Canada Capital
David Alloune is Senior Director, Asset Allocation at Trans-Canada Capital. He joined the investment team in 2010 and has since contributed to many key mandates, including the development of the alternative investments portfolio, the implementation of processes and tools for the management of fixed income and derivatives, the establishment of investment policies, the risk budget and quantitative research. In his current role, Mr. Alloune is part of the strategic and tactical asset allocation team. He is also a member of the Portfolio Construction Committee and of the External Managers Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the Trans-Canada Capital investment team, he worked as an actuarial analyst at Mercer.
Mr. Alloune brings nearly 15 years of experience in asset/liability management for pension funds. He holds a Bachelor degree in mathematics from the University of Montreal. He is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a CFA charterholder.
