Geraldo Ferreira, Senior Vice-President, Head of Product Management and Manager Oversight, leads CI’s investment product development and management function. He is also responsible for CI’s portfolio manager research and oversight function, monitoring CI’s investment managers. Prior to joining CI, Mr. Ferreira worked at a Canadian asset manager where he supported the firm’s sub-advisory relationships as well its relationships with investment dealers across Canada. Previously, he was VP Investment Products Development and Management for a Canadian insurance company responsible for its investment fund products and sub-advisory relationships. Geraldo served as a Mutual Fund Awards jury member for the Morningstar Canadian Investment Awards for eight years and was past Chair of the Committee on Individual Segregated Funds of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA). Geraldo earned his BA in Political Science & History from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA Charterholder.
