Vice President of Business Development and Client Service Management, Citco (Canada) Inc.
Wendy Kang is a Vice President of Business Development and Client Service Management at Citco (Canada) Inc. With almost 10 years of professional experience in the industry, she is responsible for expanding Citco’s Fund of Funds business development in North America. In tandem, she also manages Citco’s Client Service Management department to oversee the company-wide centralized RFP and third-party DDQ processes. Before transitioning to Business Development and Client Service Management, Wendy was part of Citco’s Investor Relations department. Prior to joining Citco, Wendy was a Securities Processing Associate at Citigroup, where she focused on tailoring client solutions for Canadian investors in mutual fund products. Wendy graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science and is currently pursuing the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
Wendy joins the AIMA Canada Executive Board for the 2020-2022 term having served on the AIMA Canada Programming and Events Committee for over four years, spending the last two years as Co-Chair. In addition, Wendy partners with Help for Children by sitting on their Committee of Hearts on behalf of Citco (Canada) Inc. to facilitate the firm’s charitable initiatives. In 2019, Wendy was on the Steering Committee for Help for Children’s inaugural Private Equity Cares Canada event, which successfully raised over $300,000. Wendy is also a member of 100 Women in Finance and spearheads Citco (Canada) Inc.’s International Women’s Day campaign as part of the firm’s global initiative. In 2018, Wendy was a recipient of AIMA Canada’s Outstanding Young Champion Volunteer Award.
