AIMA Canada Handbook 2014

The AIMA Canada Handbook was created to satisfy the needs of many participants in the Canadian and global hedge fund community. For (aspiring) Canadian hedge fund managers, it is designed to provide a roadmap of how to establish a fund management company in Canada, the regulatory requirements thereof and some of the other key factors (such as raising capital). For Canadian and global retail and institutional investors it provides a background on Canadian hedge, its overall AUM ($35+ billion), number of managers (160+), regulation (the same as long-only managers) and other key factors. It also provides a member directory to get to know a selection of the Canadian industry's participants.
