Elaine Zhang

Elaine Zhang, Head of Distribution, China, based in Beijing, is responsible for strategy planning and business development of Schroders in China. 

Prior to joining Schroders in May 2014, Elaine was Director and Head of Alternative Investment at the National Council for Social Security Fund of China.  She had earlier served as Global Investment Manager of the National Council for Social Security Fund, responsible for global asset allocation, product design, manager selection and performance evaluation. She started her career in 2002 as a Fixed Income Analyst at the National Council for Social Security Fund.

Elaine holds a MA and BA degree in finance from Tsinghua University of China, and is a CFA Charterholder.
