Anthony is a Financial Services tax partner based in Boston who also serves as the Northeast tax leader for Digital Assets. Anthony has more than 20 years of public
accounting experience in the financial services industry focused on the taxation for alternative investments funds. Most recently, he has also dedicated the past five years to the digital asset and cryptocurrency industry.
As the financial services and digital asset industries continue to evolve and converge, Anthony has emerged as a trusted advisor for asset managers regarding fund formation and tax compliance given his deep knowledge of both industries. As an established leader in the digital asset industry, he is a valuable national resource for the firm where he brings extensive cryptocurrency tax and regulatory experience.
Prior to joining BDO, Anthony was a financial services tax partner at a national top 25 firm where he was also the tax leader for the digital asset fund practice. Prior
to this role, Anthony spent 15 years in the asset management tax practice of a Big Four firm in Boston. During this time, he also had the opportunity to work in Luxembourg on a two-year secondment where he concentrated on US tax reporting and compliance for foreign asset managers.
