Head of Prime Services & Cash Equities, Australia, BNP Paribas
Damien leads BNP Paribas’s prime finance and cash equities platform in Australia, overseeing cash and synthetic equity financing, equity execution services, inventory trading, and automated market‑making activities. He is accountable for all operational, risk, and revenue aspects of the franchise and manages the teams that deliver these services to institutional clients.
Previously, Damien served as Head of Prime Finance Sales and Capital Introductions for Deutsche Bank in Australia & NZ, where he expanded the firm’s prime brokerage efforts with clients and investors locally. Prior to that he was Chief Operating Officer at Fulcrum Asset Management LP in London and an Executive Director in Prime Brokerage at Goldman Sachs, also in London.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & International Relations from the Australian National University, Canberra.
