Rich Gilmore is the CEO of Carbon Growth Partners (CGP), a leading investment manager in the global carbon markets. In the 12 months to June, CGP generated an uncorrelated return of 61%, financed 25 million tonnes of emissions reductions and helped conserve than 2 million hectares of forests and wetlands.
With a background in financial markets, conservation, climate change and community development, Rich has conceived, designed and implemented more than US$400 million in innovative climate and natural capital investments over the past five years.
Rich has a Masters in Environmental Management, is a Non-Executive Director of Tiverton Agriculture Impact Fund and a member of the SE-Asia Committee of the World Economic Forum’s Tropical Forest Alliance. In 2021, Rich named one of Australia’s Power 100, those leading the transition to a low carbon future.
