Alison has built her career and reputation as a trusted advisor to Canadian family offices, foundations, pensions and affluent individuals and households. Prior to joining Scotia Wealth Management as a Wealth Advisor, she spent the last five of her twelve years in the financial industry on the trading floor of Scotiabank’s capital markets group, where she developed a comprehensive knowledge of the investment strategies that build long-term, multi-generational wealth.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. She cares deeply about building community as a board member of her neighbourhood residents’ association and as a committee member of 100 Women in Finance.

She lives in Toronto with her husband and three lively daughters, with whom she enjoys spending time on the water in Muskoka, and on the ski hill in Collingwood.
