Abdalla Ruken

As Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Abdalla’s focus is on portfolio construction and strategy development. Abdalla originally joined Polar Asset Management Partners in 2008 as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and has since been heavily involved in the evolution of Polar’s risk management framework and trading platform. During his tenure as Polar’s CRO, he oversaw a team responsible for various risk management functions, led a development team that designed Polar’s proprietary investment management software and applications, and worked directly with the CIO on portfolio construction, strategy development and the formation of Polar’s investment team.
