Yoshio Horimoto

Mr. Yoshio Horimoto is the Vice Commissioner for the Strategy Development and Evidence-based Policymaking team of Japan Financial
Services Agency (JFSA). He is currently responsible for planning JFSA’s overall policy, including sustainable finance, strengthening the functions of
the international financial center and financial tax policy in Japan. He is Deputy Director-General of the New Form of Capitalism Realization Headquarters, Cabinet Secretariat, in charge of the Japanese national plan for the asset management center. Additionally, Mr. Horimoto was
previously a senior manager for a private consulting firm for five years.
Mr. Horimoto holds a B.B.A. from the University of Tokyo.

堀本 善雄  金融庁 総合政策局 政策立案総括審議官

旧大蔵省に入省後、国際復興開発銀行審議役、金融庁監督局・検査局課長補佐、財務省大臣官房文書課課長補佐・企画官等を務め、2008年に金融機関向けコンサルティング会社に転職。2013年に金融庁に復帰し、金融機関の検査・監督を担当。2019年総合政策局審議官、2021年監督局審議官を経て、2022年6月より現職（※）。サステナブルファイナンスの推進、日本における国際金融センターの機能強化などを担う。また、内閣官房の新しい資本主義実現本部事務局次長も併任。
