General Manager, Man Investment Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd
Ming Xu is the China General Manager for Man Group, based in Shanghai. He serves as Legal Representative for Man Group's entities in the People’s Republic of China.
Ming joined Man AHL in 2011. He was responsible for the monitoring and implementation of frontier markets in Asia. Ming transferred to Shanghai as Head of China Trading in 2017, leading the effort in onshore trading and new markets research. Ming subsequently took on the responsibility of China onshore investment strategies research for Man AHL, as well as leading client business development in China.
Ming holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in Automation from Xiamen University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
