Kyle Downey is a 30-year veteran of application development in roles at both Wall Street firms and startups in New York City, Shanghai and Hong Kong. At Morgan Stanley he was founder & head of their Automated Risk Trading department, which developed many of their in-house algorithmic execution and market making systems; head of IT for the Quantitative Investment Strategies business; and architect for their data science platform for quant research. Following that, he was co-founder and CEO of Cloudwall, an early pioneer in digital assets risk management, which was acquired by Talos in April 2024. At Talos he is Head of Product Strategy, covering their range of trading & investment management solutions.
