Vittorio Casamento is a banking, derivatives and financial services  lawyer based in Sydney. He has extensive experience advising clients across a wide range of transactions in the financial markets, including derivatives (interest rate, FX, equity, credit, carbon and environmental product trading), repurchase/securities lending and structured finance transactions (including asset, equipment and receivables financing) and Australian financial services and banking regulation. His clients include major Australian and international financial institutions, investment fund/asset managers, commodity trading houses, trustees/agents and other sponsors/investors.
 
Vittorio is recognised in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers Australia for his expertise in derivatives and structured finance law. Vittorio has been involved in advising domestic and international banks on Australia's implementation of OTC derivatives regulations (trade reporting, central clearing and margining for uncleared swaps) and has been an active participant in several industry bodies (ISDA, Australian Financial Markets Association, Financial Services Council) that have been involved in the development and consultation process for these regulations.
