Head of US Regulatory Affairs and Counsel, Marshall Wace
Lance serves as US Regulatory Counsel at Marshall Wace and is responsible for advising on key regulatory initiatives and developments, bringing over 15 years of experience managing regulatory and compliance priorities, globally. Prior to joining Marshall Wace, Lance served as Regulatory Counsel at LMR Partners, where he participated in the onboarding of new strategies, counseled on the impact of upcoming regulation, and managed daily regulatory issues. Prior to LMR, Lance worked for KKR, where he founded and led its Regulatory Practice Program, interfacing with regulators and partnering on compliance exams, investigations, annual risk assessments, and regulatory change management initiatives. Lance served in similar roles at AQR Capital Management and Morgan Stanley.
Lance received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University, and is a member of the New York bar.
