Chief Operating Officer, Ariose Capital
Tony Blake has been Chief Operating Officer of Ariose Capital, a Hong Kong–based investment management firm, since 2017. He oversees all non-investment functions, including operations, finance, risk, governance and investor-facing infrastructure that supports the firm’s growth.
From 2013 to 2016, Tony worked as a consulting COO on financial-sector projects across Asia-Pacific and Europe, helping businesses design and scale their operating platforms. He began his financial services career at SG Warburg in London in 1987 in finance and business management roles, later becoming Global Business Manager for Research following the firm’s acquisition by SBC.
Tony moved to Asia in 1997 as COO of UBS Warburg Thailand and then served as Regional COO of Asian Equities for UBS Securities Asia from 1999 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Tony was COO/CFO of a digital marketing group with operations in six Southeast Asian countries. A Chartered Accountant (ACA), he trained with Deloitte in New Zealand and the UK and remains a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
