Mr. Shiraki has over 25 years of experience investing in private equity, venture capital funds, and hedge funds in Japan and globally. He launched and managed several portfolios of hedge funds and private equity funds for Sanwa Bank, now part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Group.
He has been a founding member of Monex Alternative Investments and serves as its CEO and CIO since 2004. He was appointed CIO of Astomax Co., Ltd. in 2013.
In 2015, Mr. Shiraki founded Akebono Asset Management Ltd.
He also started serving on a board of directors at Aizawa Securities Co., Ltd. TSE1 listed security broker company in 2019 and started serving on a board of directors at Asuka Asset Management in June 2020. Currently, he is a director of AIZAWA SECURITY GROUP CO., LTD. listed on Prime Market of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Mr. Shiraki has been a board member of the Alternative Investment Management Association of Japan (AIMA Japan) since 2001 and currently serves as its Vice Chairman. He is also a director and committee member Japan Venture Capital Association.
2020年6月 あすかアセットマネジメント株式会社取締役就任。
2015年 あけぼの投資顧問を設立、代表取締役に就任。
国内外のプライベートエクイティファンド、ベンチャーキャピタル、ヘッジファンド投資に25年以上携わる。
株式会社三和銀行（現株式会社三菱UFJ銀行）入行後、オルタナティブ投資を担当。
ヘッジファンド、プライベートエクイティファンドへの投資を行った。
2004年 国内オルタナティブ投資顧問会社マネックス・オルタナティブ・インベストメンツを設立、代表取締役・最高投資責任者を務めた。
2013年 アストマックス投信投資顧問株式会社で取締役最高投資責任者。
2015年 あけぼの投資顧問株式会社を設立、代表取締役就任。
2019年 藍澤證券株式会社 社外取締役就任。
2022年 アイザワ証券グループ株式会社 取締役就任。 オルタナティブ・インベストメント・マネジメント（AIMA）日本支部副会長 、日本ベンチャーキャピタル協会 LPリレーション部会長
