Managing Director and Head of Alpha for Private Markets (EMEA), State Street
Andrew Allright is Managing Director and the Head, Alpha Private Markets (APM) in EMEA and is responsible for building the Alpha Private Markets franchise by working with clients to build out infrastructure to support their growing businesses to enable scale and improved decision making.
Most recently, Andrew was CEO and Business Unit Head of State Street Managed Accounts Services (InfraHedge) Ltd , a 10 year established business acquired by State Street in 2012 which is a market leader of hedge fund managed account infrastructure solutions providing of data management, analytics, compliance and reporting solutions.
Previous to State Street, Andrew was Deputy COO and Head and Risk Management on Man Groups $20bn Managed account platform Man Global Strategies. And previous to this was Head, Risk Management on Structured derivatives business of a UK investment bank. He has over 25 years in Investment Management, Banking and Service providers.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree from Birmingham University, UK and the Chartered Alternative Investment Association (CAIA) designation. He was former Head of the London Chapter of CAIA.
