Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, Incline Investment Management
I am a founding partner of a systematic macro investment manager, Incline Investment Management (“IIM”). I am also the Co-Founder of Incline Investment Advisors, LLC (“IIA”), a Nevada-based RIA where I serve as a Managing Partner. At IIM, I am the CEO, leading the overall business, including risk management, portfolio development, operations, and business development. I am registered with the National Futures Association as a Principal and Associated Person of IIM.
I previously served as an Assistant Professor of Business and Investments at Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe and provided strategic consulting services to hedge funds through Parkhill Financial, LLC. Prior to founding IIM, I was a Director at Zazove Associates, a multi-billion dollar quantitative convertible securities manager. I also held a senior executive role at John W. Henry & Company, one of the original Commodity Trading Advisors (John is best known for his ownership of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club). In addition, I was Managing Director of a small Commodity Trading Advisor in 2007.
Before entering the alternative investment space in 2001, I spent over ten years in various management roles in the mutual fund industry, notably with Ivy Mackenzie (the Ivy Funds) in the U.S. and Investors Group in Canada. I began my career as an investment analyst with Great-West Life.
I earned an MBA from Cornell University with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. I hold a BA in Economics from the University of Manitoba and earned the Chartered Financial Planner designation in the 1990s. I have also passed the FINRA Series 3, 6, 7, 30, 63, 65, and 66 examinations.
