Leilani Weier

Leilani is Rest’s General Manager, Responsible Investment & Sustainability. For the last 7 years, she has led the development of Rest’s Responsible Investment and Sustainability function, sitting on the Management Investment Committee. Leilani’s professional motivation is to drive and deliver great outcomes for Rest members through the management of ESG and climate-related factors to reduce risks and enhance investment performance. She has worked in the U.K., the U.S., in regional and rural Australia, and across a range of sectors - government, corporate, and financial services. Leilani holds a degree in Environmental Science (Natural Resources) from the University of Queensland, holds the One Planet MBA from the University of Exeter (with Dean’s Commendation), is GAICD, and is an ACSI Board member.
