Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations, First Beijing
Thomas is a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at First Beijing. He joined the firm in 2020 and prior to this had 16 years of diverse experience in the finance sector. Thomas was formerly a Managing Director at Asian Private Equity firm ADV Partners, where he led the firm’s fundraising, investor relations, public relations, and business development initiatives. Prior to ADV, Thomas was a Principal with Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund - Mubadala Investment Company, where he had overall responsibility for all Asia investments and the formation of bilateral investment partnerships with Asian sovereign wealth funds. Previously, Thomas was an Investment Manager with Grace Financial, a Hong Kong-based multi-family office. He also spent time as an investment banker with Macquarie, where he focused on principal investments and sell-side advisory mandates across Infrastructure and Industrial sectors. Thomas began his career with Qantas Airways in Australia.
Thomas is an FRM charter holder and has an Executive MBA degree jointly conferred by Columbia Business School, London Business School, and Hong Kong University. In addition, he holds a BEng in Aerospace Engineering and a Bcom in Finance from The University of Sydney.
