Thomas Granger is an independent director who brings over 25 years of experience advising and working with leading hedge, private equity and infrastructure funds, investment managers and investors across the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to establishing Sky Governance Pty Ltd in 2025 as an independent directorship provider, Thomas was a lawyer at Walkers, a leading offshore law firm, from 2005 to 2024 including as a partner for 14 years based in Hong Kong and Singapore. Thomas has extensive legal experience with fund formation and ongoing advice and compliance for funds being managed in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. He is also an expert
in legal risk management, regulatory compliance and fiduciary oversight.
Thomas holds a Master of Laws (LLM), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts (Japanese) from the University of Queensland. He has been recognised by Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Chambers Global and Chambers Asia Pacific as a leading individual and notable practitioner in the funds industry.
