Jorge de Lafuente oversees preliminary and ongoing operational due diligence of Hedge Fund, Venture, Private Equity, and Real Estate investments for The Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company. Prior to joining the Trust Company in 2010, he was engaged in a similar capacity by two Texas based Funds of Hedge Funds. Prior to moving to Texas, Jorge was with Citigroup’s Multi-Asset and Fund Derivatives trading desk in New York and has held senior structured credit documentation roles with Bear Stearns and Salomon Brothers.
