Yuka Hattori

After graduating from Kyoto University Law School, she joined Recruit Co., Ltd. There, she played a key role in launching the life insurance business through collaboration with Life Insurance company, and later worked as a manager in the Human Resources department, contributing to the design of HR systems, development of next-generation leadership programs, and initiation of projects promoting gender diversity.

After established ICJ in 2011, she launched the 1st fund 2014, providing hands-on support for the launch and growth of ventures such as Coconara Co., Ltd., which created the skill marketplace, and the space development venture ispace Inc., which came close to achieving the first private lunar landing.

In 2020, she formed the ICJ2 Fund with a focus on ESG. With the aim of accelerating the rapid growth of venture companies through the incorporation of ESG principles, she organized Japan's first ESG-themed accelerator program, the "ICJ ESG Accelerator 2021," and has continued to host it annually since. Since October 2021, she has been serving as an invited associate professor at the Osaka University ESG Integration Research and Education Center.
