In a career spanning over 21 years at Morgan Stanley in New York and Tokyo, Alvaro was a founding member of the Japan Global High Yield Trading as well as the Japan Special Situations Group. The latter focused on proprietary investments in special situations, private debt, private equity, and real estate. At Gordian Capital Japan, he has been focused on building up the institutional fund platform as well as the pension-fund DIM business.
