Jiro Shimpo

Jiro Shimpo is President & CEO of Tasku Advisors, a boutique asset allocator serving for institutional investors.  Before founding Tasku in 2018, he started alternative investment advisory business at a U.S. investment consulting firm and helped public and private pension funds in the area of process building, manager selection, and risk management.  Prior to that, he worked for a life insurer as well as a trust bank where he practiced asset allocation and manager selection in both traditional and alternative investments.  He graduated from Waseda University with a BA in economics and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.  He is a CFA charter holder.

信託銀行にて債券運用、年金向け資産配分等の業務を担当した後、生命保険会社にてオルタナティブ投資の運用実務に携わる。その後、米系運用コンサルティング会社においてオルタナティブ投資専門のコンサルティング部署を立ち上げ、年金基金等に対しプロセス構築、マネージャー選択、リスク管理等の助言を行う。2018年にタスク・アドバイザーズを設立、コンサルティング及び投資運用業務を行う。早稲田大学政治経済学部卒業、シカゴ大学経営大学院修了。
