Hunter Kelley

Hunter earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and serves as the investment lead for quantitative and market-neutral hedge fund strategies at Galaxy Vision Hill, the fund of funds business within Galaxy Digital’s Asset Management branch. Hunter’s background as a quantitative analyst for a $2+ billion global equities portfolio coupled with his interest in macroeconomics drove him to pursue a professional career in the crypto space as he saw the structural shift that was taking place in the global financial system. Hunter began his crypto journey in 2017 when he participated in the ICO craze and traded Bitcoin in his free time. However, after interacting with this technology, the focus became less and less on the daily PnL and much more on the broader implications that this new way of transmitting value would have on society. Hunter is passionate about utilizing technology to create value and is excited by the impact that the intersection of finance and technology can bring to people around the world.
