Senior Associate, aosphere
John Dyson joined aosphere as a Senior Associate in 2023. John works on the Rulefinder Marketing Restrictions and Rulefinder Marketing Restrictions - Asset Management products.
Prior to joining aosphere, John worked in the General Counsel’s Division of the Financial Conduct Authority for 12 years, most recently as the Manager of the Investments Team. In that role John was oversaw advice on areas such as conduct of business, financial promotions, appointed representatives and the FCA’s supervisory powers. John was also involved in the development of the Consumer Duty.
John’s previous experience includes advising asset managers on the establishment of a wide range of private funds as a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance. Before moving to the UK, John was at Clayton Utz in Sydney where he advised on financial services regulatory issues (including a secondment to AMP Capital Investors) and at the Commonwealth Treasury where he was heavily involved in reforms to the regulation of financial services in Australia.
