Tami Ooka is currently a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group Japan and involving in sourcing and acquisition of real estate properties and other real estate related assets. Prior to joining Fortress in 2011, she led sourcing and acquisitions of distressed real estate loans and distressed real estate companies in Global Real Estate Group of Lehman Brothers from 2000. Subsequently, she worked on liquidation of the Group’s assets. Prior to that, she was one of the original members of Goldman Sachs Realty’s pricing team of real estate non-performing loans. She started her career in the United States where she advised cross border M&A and real estate transactions in a boutique investment bank, moved on to Sumitomo Trust & Banking (currently SMTB) to generate real estate and corporate loans. Before she joined Goldman in Tokyo, she had provided various international investment banks in Japan with valuation and due diligence of distressed real estate loans in KPMG’s Advisory Group in Los Angeles.
She has BA degree from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo.
現在、フォートレス・インベストメント・グループ・ジャパン マネージング・ディレクターとして不動産関連投資案件のソーシングと取得を担当。2011年フォートレス入社以前は2000年よりリーマン・ブラザーズ証券のグローバル不動産グループにて不動産担保付不良債権および不動産会社などの投資案件のソーシングおよび買収に従事。同社の倒産後は不動産グループ資産の清算業務に係る。リーマン・ブラザーズ入社以前はゴールドマン・サックス・リアルティの不動産担保付不良債権のプライシングチームの立ち上げを行う。それ以前は住友信託銀行（現三井住友信託銀行）米国支店にて不動産およびコーポレート・ローンの融資業務を経た後、KPMGのアドバイザリー・グループにて米国投資銀行の日本支社向けに日本の不良債権、不動産企業買収のバリュエーションおよびデューデリジェンスを提供。
青山学院大学にて学士号取得。
