Manabu is Head of Aksia Asia in Tokyo and has over 37 years of experience in capital markets, derivatives and alternative investments. He oversees the advisory, research and operational work performed in Aksia’s Asia offices. Manabu also advises Aksia’s Asia-based institutional investors on their alternative investment programs. Prior to joining Aksia, Manabu was a Managing Director in the Equity Sales & Trading Department of Morgan Stanley Tokyo. He also worked for Credit Suisse First Boston Tokyo Financial Products, where he focused on developing derivative products for institutional investors.
Manabu started his career in 1985 at Daiwa Securities Japan. Manabu graduated from the University of Oregon in 1985 with a BBA in Finance and Marketing and earned an MBA from Harvard University in 1990.
