Shalin Madan

Co-Founder, Formidium

Shalin Madan is the Co-Founder of Formidium, a multi-asset class fund administrator and the global leader in digital assets back-office services. He was formerly the Founder of Bodhi Tree Asset Management, a hedge fund managing quantitative macro strategies. Prior to Bodhi Tree, Shalin served as a Managing Director at Strenta Investment Management, an SEC-registered investment adviser for an institutional family office, where he was responsible for all aspects of investment and portfolio management across various asset classes. Before that, Shalin held the position of Vice President at Ivy Asset Management, where, as a Portfolio Manager, he oversaw the firm's flagship multi-manager hedge fund portfolios. He began his alternative assets career 23 years ago at Dome Capital Management, a hedge fund advisory firm. Additionally, Shalin has personally supported multiple highly successful Silicon Valley-based tech startups as an investor and board advisor, and he currently serves as CFO to Runday.ai, a generative A.I. firm. Shalin holds an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. In his free time, Shalin is an avid biohacker.
