Irene Law is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Seiga Asset Management Limited, a Hong Kong based asset manager specializing in Japan long short and long only equity strategies. Prior to joining Seiga at its inception, Irene was the Asia Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at TPG-Axon Capital in Hong Kong, where she was responsible for overseeing all business operations for the Hong Kong and Tokyo offices, as well as managing legal and compliance risks for the group and its funds and managed accounts in Asia. Irene started her career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in its New York and Hong Kong offices, handling a variety of corporate matters, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Irene is also a member of the Executive Committee for AIMA Hong Kong.
