Elissa is a Partner and Managing Director of Omni. She has spent nearly 20 years in the financial services industry.
Elissa joined Omni in 2009. During her early tenure at the company, Elissa worked across a variety of hedge fund strategies, most notably equity event-driven and discretionary global macro. Since 2013 she has been focused on the development of the Omni’s private markets business. Elissa successfully raised three vintages of the company’s private debt strategy, Omni Secured Lending. She became a Partner in 2014 and has since shifted her focus to the growth of Omni’s private equity business. Elissa is a member of Omni’s investment committee.
Elissa previously worked at the mid-cap investment bank Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) in Corporate Broking / Equity Capital Markets (ECM) in London. She began her financial services career at Piper Jaffray’s global headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Elissa holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree (with Distinction) in Finance, Economics and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin.
