Mr. Paul Ma is the Founder and CEO of Verigin Tech, an AI empowered fintech company founded in 2026 and dedicated to optimizing asset allocation and wealth management.
Paul has over two decades of experience in investment management and consulting, having previously served as Managing Director and CFO at Hillhouse Capital, Partner at GL Capital, and Partner at KPMG Consulting.
A serial entrepreneur, Paul has co-founded multiple hedge funds and private equity funds, bringing extensive hands-on experience in investment strategy formulation, portfolio construction and risk management. He has worked in New York, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
Paul Ma holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nankai University, a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master's degree in Economics from Kent State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (AICPA). He has also served as a career mentor for the CFO master's program at Tsinghua University, a member of the Private Equity Investment Committee at the China Insurance Asset Management Association, and a director of CVCFO.
