Head of Portfolio Design, JANA Investment Advisers
Courtney is a Senior Consultant and Head of Portfolio Design at JANA. In his role, he is responsible for leading client advice on portfolio construction to meet client objectives and constraints in addition to overseeing research on portfolio design related investment research. As a Senior Consultant, he advises a number of institutional superannuation and endowment clients.
Courtney has been with JANA since 2006 and prior to his current role, was Head of Alternative Investment Research for seven years and has previously been a member of the International equity, Australian equity and Private equity research teams within JANA in conjunction to consulting to a diverse range of institutional clients. Courtney is a graduate of Macquarie University with a double degree in Applied Finance and Economics and has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program.
