Portfolio Manager, Orchard Global Asset Management
Shawn Cooper began working at Orchard in 2017 and is responsible for OGAM’s cash structured credit investments. He is currently the senior portfolio manager for CloverTree Opportunities Fund, a fund focused on trading strategies and risk retention solutions in the CLO market. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Brevan Howard where he was responsible for CLO/ABS trading within the flagship multi-strategy master fund. Prior to joining Brevan Howard, Shawn was the Global Head of European Structured Credit Trading at Deutsche Bank where he worked from 2006 to 2014. He began his career as a software engineer.
Shawn received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and graduated cum laude with a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University. He is based in London.
