Matt Livas, CFA, is Barings’ Head of Client Portfolio Management for the Public Fixed Income team. Matt is responsible for fundraising, product development and external communication of public fixed income strategies globally and is an observer in investment committee meetings and portfolio investment reviews. Matt has worked in the industry since 2001. Prior to joining Barings in 2022, he spent 5 years at PIMCO as the lead product strategist for global leveraged finance and multi-sector credit. Matt holds an M.A. (Hons) in Economics & Economic History from The University of Edinburgh and has been a CFA charter holder since 2006.
