Glen Ho

 Mr. Glen Ho is the Restructuring, Turnaround & Cost Transformation Leader for Deloitte China. Experience In a career spanning over 30 years, Glen has acted as a trusted business advisor and provided Financial Advisory Services to various stakeholders (including shareholders, directors, debtors, creditors and investors) in special situations where he has provided solutions and recommendations on complex issuesin the areas of Crisis Management, Financial Advisory Services and Insolvency. Glen’s specialist expertise includes the provision of Restructuring Services in complex cross-jurisdictional restructurings. Glen offers a wide range of financial advisory services, including: (i) Turnaround/ Performance Improvement – where he provides senior, hands-on support to executive management and shareholders to deliver successful business turnarounds of under-performing or stressed fast-growing businesses The advisory services he offers include Independent Business Reviews, Liquidity/Working Capital Management, Operational and Corporate Restructuring and Distressed M&A. (ii) Financial Restructuring – where he advises management and stakeholders of companies facing financial pressures or distress, and offers support in negotiations between debtors and creditors, and formulates strategic, commercial and financial plans to deliver robust financing and restructuring solutions, including sourcing fresh capital to take companies forward. (iii) Contingency Planning and Insolvency – where he provides hands-on strategic and commercial advice, leveraging specialist knowledge such as Debt Restructuring, Cash Monitoring, Schemes of Arrangement, Resumption of Trading in the Shares of Companies Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Floating and Fixed Charge Receivership and Liquidations. (iv) Managed Exit –where he helps corporate clients develop optimalstrategiesfor dealing with non-core or under-performing businesses and supports them through implementation, whether in a challenged M&A or wind-down situation. Glen is one of the appointment takers of the Firm included in the Administrative Panel of Insolvency Practitioners for Court Winding-up (the “Panel A Scheme”). Mr. Ho also acts as administrator of estates of deceased individuals, particularly where the estates involve real estate and significant business operations. Glen is also experienced in carrying outInvestigations and Forensic engagements. During his career with Deloitte, Glen has worked on a large number of assignments covering both listed and private companies in a wide range of industries in Hong Kong, China and numerous overseas jurisdictions.
