President, Siano Services, LLC
Matthew Brady Siano, Esq. is the President of Siano Services, LLC, a hedge fund strategic consulting firm, and the Chief Legal Officer of Five Bells Settlement Corp., a digital assets trading infrastructure company. Five Bells specializes in building middle office software (e.g., clearing, trading matching and settlement software solutions) for crypto trading firms. From July 2004 through July 2023, Mr. Siano was the Managing Director, Global General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer of Two Sigma Investments, LP and all its various domestic and international affiliates, a group of global investment managers and broker/dealers specializing in quantitative investing and advising across a broad range of asset classes with greater than $50 billion in third-party assets under management. As Two Sigma’s General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Siano was responsible for the firm’s global legal, regulatory, compliance and government affairs matters and was the head of their legal, compliance and government affairs departments, spanning over sixty (60) professionals. Mr. Siano left full-time employment at Two Sigma in December 2023 and served as Managing Director – Emeritus of Two Sigma until December 31, 2024.
From September 1999 through June 30, 2004, Mr. Siano was an associate in the Investment Management Group of Seward & Kissel LLP, a New York City-headquartered law firm with an industry-leading hedge fund practice.
Mr. Siano graduated cum laude from William & Mary in 1996 with a B.A. and a J.D. from Fordham Law School in 1999.
In addition to his service to Two Sigma, Mr. Siano has also been an adjunct professor on both the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Mason School of Business, the business school of William & Mary in Virginia for over twelve (12) years.
