APAC Head of Clearing Sales, Marex
Karan Jalan is the APAC Head of Clearing Sales at Marex based in Singapore. With over 15 years of experience, Karan has helped develop and been part of market-leading businesses in the cleared derivatives space. He has extensive experience in helping clients navigate the changing regulatory landscape, preparing for market structure changes and consulting on industry best practices. During his career, he has worked with a multitude of client types across multiple asset classes.
Karan joined Marex’s clearing business in September 2023 and relocated to Singapore. Prior to joining Marex, Karan worked for Barclays, Morgan Stanley and most recently Citi in London where he was responsible for European Commodities Clearing Sales. He holds a MSc in Finance from London Business School in the UK.
