Mr. Patwardhan is an Executive Vice President & Head of Business Development at Formidium. Mr. Patwardhan has over two decades of experience in financial services, investment banking and asset management. Prior to joining Sudrania, Mr. Patwardhan was a Founder and Portfolio Manager at AVR Advisors LLC, a quantitative asset manager trading futures and options. Mr. Patwardhan, focused on developing quantitative algorithms, trading and capital raising. Prior to founding AVR Capital, Mr. Patwardhan was a Portfolio Manager at Pacific Life Insurance Company for 8 years, where he ran a quantitative global macro strategy. At Pacific Life, Mr. Patwardhan oversaw all of the investing, research and capital raising activities for the quantitative macro team.
Prior to joining Pacific Life, Mr. Patwardhan spent a decade at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and selling CLOs and CDOs. Mr. Patwardhan also co-founded the Social Finance group where he was responsible for raising capital from institutional investors and sourcing investment opportunities for internal capital in microfinance companies globally. Prior to JPMorgan, Mr. Patwardhan was at KPMG in the corporate finance team focusing on middle market M&As. Mr. Patwardhan has an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
