Karen Clarke is a Senior Consultant at Comsura Limited, a compliance and operational consultancy business.
In 2011 Karen co-founded the Verno Capital Group, a specialist emerging markets investment manager focussing on public and private investments in Russia and the former CIS for global institutional investors. She was the Chief Executive Officer and Partner until 2019, growing the business from $15m to $6bn. In the previous 20+ years Karen worked at investment banks, broker/dealers and investment managers in London.
Karen holds a degree in Social Anthropology from the University of East Anglia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
